{"id":2426,"date":"2012-03-03T01:19:32","date_gmt":"2012-03-03T05:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.broadstreetbelievers.com\/?p=2426"},"modified":"2012-03-03T01:19:32","modified_gmt":"2012-03-03T05:19:32","slug":"ctc-day-five-recap-socon-opening-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/broadstreetbelievers.com\/?p=2426","title":{"rendered":"CTC Day Five Recap: SoCon Opening Round"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SoCon tipped off their tournament on Friday with an opening round quadrupleheader.\u00a0 The results were all over the place, so a perfect 4-for-4 from Dave is <em>very <\/em>impressive.\u00a0 It is almost as impressive that Waters went 0-for-4.<\/p>\n<p><em>#10 Appalachian St. 93 &#8211; #7 College of Charleston 81<\/em><br \/>\nCan someone please tell me what in the world happened to CofC in the last month and a half?\u00a0 Anyway, App State ends the strange season for the Cougars and now gets the Northern Division champs, UNC-Greensboro in the quarters.\u00a0 This may have been the biggest CTC game of the day.\u00a0 Dave, Gersh, KA, and RSmith hit this nice upset pick; Dave and Gersh kept alive a semifinalist.\u00a0 Doogan, Lohse, Lynch, RDoc, and Teddy all lost a\u00a0<em>finalist<\/em> with this loss.\u00a0 Bry, Gross, and Rikey each lost a semifinalist.<\/p>\n<p><em>#6 W.
