Stumpf<\/strong> was a UNC win away from a perfect<\/em> Day Thirteen.\u00a0 Bry<\/strong> was a UNC win away from the 2013 CTC Overall Title.\u00a0 But, Miami came through, won the ACC, and Mac is our 2013 CTC Overall Champion!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Defending champion, Primm<\/strong>, put in another really nice showing, finishing in 3rd place, while Stumpf<\/strong> and GrossSr’s<\/strong>\u00a0miraculous runs\u00a0down the stretch\u00a0(1885 and 1853 points, respectively\u00a0over just the last 4 days – more than 150 more than anyone else in the field) fell just short of a title, it did vault them Stumpf<\/strong> to 4th place and GrossSr<\/strong> to 6th place overall.\u00a0 Sneaking into 5th on the final day gives Doogan<\/strong> yet another Top-5 finish.<\/p>\n

Caleb<\/strong> had the biggest climb on the final day, jumping from 21st to 14th on the strength of the Miami and Ohio St wins.\u00a0 Waters<\/strong> jumped up 3 spots to finish in a respectable 17th, just a point behind Lynch<\/strong> for 16th.\u00a0 RDoc<\/strong> climbed two spots for a final of 8th place.\u00a0 GrossJr<\/strong> – thanks to Ohio St. and St. Louis – avoids a last-place finish on the final day.<\/p>\n

PapaCim<\/strong> took a goose egg, falling behind GrossJr<\/strong> into last in his debut CTC.\u00a0 GrossSr<\/strong>, after three other-worldly days, took a zero himself, falling from 3rd to 6th.\u00a0 Lazarow<\/strong> and Dave<\/strong> fell 3 spots each, but barely stayed in the Top 20 at 19th and 20th.\u00a0 Cheryl<\/strong> fell out of the top 20, as her zero took her from 19th to 22nd.\u00a0 Alexi<\/strong> lost a Top-5 finish, as he slipped to 7th, and Teddy<\/strong> lost a Top-10 finish, falling from 9th to 11th.<\/p>\n

Overall, it was quite the performance by Mac<\/strong>, who was consistent throughout the fortnight to complete the first ever 3,000-point CTC.\u00a0 Bry<\/strong> has to settle for his 3rd straight 2nd-place overall finish.<\/p>\n
