CTC Day Five Recap: Doogan’s Big Win is Almost Enough to Take Overall Lead; Gersh, Dan, Alexi, Rikey, and Waters All Climb the Standings in a Volatile Day

With the large slate today (and a couple championship games), there were a lot of CTC points out there to grab and some people took advantage, while others did not.  Doogan had a huge day and had the overall lead for most of the day, but Bry took it back at the very end and will once again enter the 6th day on top of the standings.  Gersh made the biggest jump of the day, improving from 15th to 6th.  Dan and Waters each jumped up from the bottom half to the top half.  Rikey came all the way up from 19th to the middle of the pack, and Alexi’s big day has put him in 3rd place and striking distance of the leaders.  Lynch took the hardest fall – falling from 10th to 19th, while Teddy fell from the penthouse of 4th place to the mediocrity of 12th.  Stri, Gross, Lohse, and KA also dropped a couple of spots.
