Where does Brian Westbrook’s “non-TD” in the final minute in a week of fantasy football playoffs rank among the greatest moments in sports that didn’t actually matter in the game?
Cimorelli’s Question of the Day

The only one I can think of that even rivals this is Chris Duhon’s half-court shot at the buzzer of a Final Four game against UConn that gave Duke a 1-point loss instead of a 4-point loss. The spread was UConn by 2. I think that one is better, but this is up there. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha…that is exactly why fantasy football sucks
i live with 2 roommates. yesterday they played each other in the playoffs. One roommate has westbrook, he was the last player playing for either team. That roommate lost by 4 points.
This is pretty great: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/20071217_Big_Bird_told_Westbrook_to_avoid_scoring.html
Runyan told him before the play: “Take a knee, Westbrook, take a knee”
I have Westbrook and had him playing in my fantasy league championship game. Had he scored, I would have only been crushed, instead I was annihilated.
I was watching the game here and was actually thrilled that he took a knee. I’ll take an Eagles win over a fantasy football championship any day, especially when they beat Dallas. In contrast, John (who many of you know) was the one who destroyed me in the championship to win the league – but he’s a Ravens fan, he had to suffer through watching his team lose to Miami.
