Cimorelli’s Question of the Day

What is it like to live in the city that hosts the Super Bowl during its pageantry?  Anyone?

I guess this question is in part directed to me. My life wasn’t affected terribly much, given that I live and work just south and east of the Phoenix and the game was north and the city and the parties were mainly north and east. There was a definite “buzz” around the city, as it was obvious who was here for the game and what team they were here for. It was neat to be able to head up to the stadium the day before to walk around with the game site with mobs of fans. And I know people who went to the Maxim-type parties as well as the “counter” parties aimed at non-Maxim types (Counting Crows played a free concert here in Tempe). Though I didn’t partake in much of it, I hope the Super Bowl comes back to Phoenix soon.

“in part.” No, Boot, it was totally directed at you. I was wondering what it was like and figured that an email would be boring and unfair to our “loyal readers.” Haha! Thanks for the response
