I kinda love Avery Johnson, but he didn’t have much success in Dallas. Also, that would be a pretty big move away from the
uptempo-style that the Sixers have been favoring, not that that’s necessarily a bad thing.
I agree with Doogan in that I love Avery Johnson but am not completely sold on his coaching ability. Does anyone else feel like the Sixers have been trying to get Jay Wright to go pro? Look at the Sixers roster…it’s all guards and shooting forwards. Sound familiar Villanova? I know that Nova has been concerned about him leaving for the pros in the last several years. That’s one of the main reasons that the university built that fancy basketball workout center right next to the Pavilion.
